What happens when four artists from different parts of the world come to Waiblingen to pursue their artistic work? The result is an extraordinary art event: the Second Scholarship for Drawing and Paper Art awarded by the City of Waiblingen.

This catalogue is being published to mark the fellowship award to artist Angela Glajcar and presents her monographic exhibition Not a cruise, a crossing at the Galerie Stihl in Waiblingen. Works on paper from various series, spanning a period of around 20 years, enter into a unique dialogue with three installations that the paper sculptor has designed specifically for the architecture of the gallery. 

The group exhibition The space between featuring emerging talents Aleida van Dijk, Kuan Lin Chen, and Rodrigo Arteaga at the Galerie im Kameralamt in Waiblingen broadens the spectrum to include further outstanding works on paper.
