"JETZT" traces its origins to the catalogue for the 1970 exhibition of the same name at the Kunsthalle Köln; Fink has worked on it artistically over the course of decades. Drawings and collages overlay the reproduced paintings by Polke, Richter, and others with new layers, transforming the exhibition catalogue into a work in its own right.

Fink champions an expanded concept of art that is rooted as much in classical media—such as drawing and painting—as it is in object art, performance, film, and language. Working with base materials is a central, unifying element of his artistic practice—a quality that is also evident in this publication through the careful selection of materials and sophisticated haptic elements.
