"100 German houses” presents the 100 most unusual projects from the 100 best architecture bureaus in all the German states. This time, with a “spotlight on concrete”, the focus is on the appeal of this material, which is not only down to its aesthetics, the feel of its surface or its tractability. Designing with concrete fulfills (practically) all the architect’s requirements– including any constructional or structural ones. We are showing examples of “best practices” in Germany – with statements by the relevant architects.
