In August 2012 Kasper König presented his valuable private archive to ZADIC. With the assistance of funding from the NRW art foundation it was subsequently possible to start tapping into this unique pool of sources from one of the most important protagonists of international art promotion since the 1960s. This new double issue of sediment presents a concentrated selection of pictorial and textual documents from the latter archive, allowing readers to understand, for the first time, just how Kasper König became the personality he is today. With testimonials from his very earliest friends and acquaintances, his work as an international correspondent and agent, a networker, publisher and exhibition maker.
