The Vienna Biennale 2015 runs from June 11 until October 4, 2015. It is the first biennial to bring together art, design and architecture in an effort to make the world a better place by employing creative ideas and artistic projects. Its boundary transcending, multi-disciplinary orientation and its coupling of artistic merit and creative industries open up new perspectives on central topics of our time, hereby fostering a positive change in our society. The Vienna Biennale 2015 was set up as an initiative of MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art. It is organized by MAK in cooperation with the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Kunsthalle Wien, Architekturzentrum Wien and departure, the Creative Unit of the Vienna Business Agency and supported by AIT Austrian Institute of Technology as a non-university research partner.
